"Autism Spectrum Disorder, or autism, is a neurodevelopmental disorder that impacts brain development causing most individuals to experience communication problems, difficulty with social interactions and a tendency to repeat specific patterns of behaviour. There is also a markedly restricted repertoire of activities and interests."
BRIGHTER PATH 4 AUTISM
Brighter Path 4 Autism is a registered charity that is dedicated to raising awareness and supportive funds for children and their families, that have not been granted government funding. These funds help cover the cost of Intensive Behaviour Intervention (IBI) therapy. Our committee is dedicated and determined to help children with ASD get the help they need.
A rising statistic. In recent estimates from "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1 in 68 children have been identified with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This represents a 30% increase in the prevalence rate in previous reports." (March 2014)
